The Foundation for Armenian Science and Technology (FAST) was excited to invite guests to its first Advance Armenia: New York Reception, which took place on April 4, 2024, at The Harvard Club (35 W 44th St, New York, NY 10036, United States). This special evening united diasporans and other global citizens who were passionate about scientific and technological advancement. A seated dinner was accompanied by an inspiring program of guest speakers and entertainment, creating an unforgettable evening as attendees came together to support FAST’s flagship educational initiative, Generation AI.


The keynote speaker of the evening was renowned scientist, entrepreneur, and philanthropist Dr. Garo Armen. A lifelong advocate for advancing scientific technologies for the betterment of health and humanity, Dr. Armen served as Chairman and CEO of Agenus Inc. Beyond his corporate achievements, he was also the founder and Chairman of the Children of Armenia Fund (COAF).


The emcee of the evening was Ms. Kristina Ayanian, Nasdaq Listings Host, Miss Universe Armenia 2023, and a member of the Forbes 30 Under 30 Class of 2024 in Media. Guests enjoyed an inspiring program of speakers and entertainment that made the evening truly memorable.


FAST was thrilled to share its mission and provide opportunities for attendees to contribute to an educational initiative dedicated to nurturing future AI innovators.


The goal of the initiative was to nurture a new generation of AI researchers and innovators in Armenia and beyond.


All contributions were tax-deductible.


All contributions were collected through Friends of FAST, FAST’s U.S.-based sister organization. It was a tax-exempt public charity organization as described in Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code; EIN 87-4632702.
