AI classrooms offer a unique opportunity for students to start exploring advanced fields while still in school and build a foundation for future success. When my son was in middle school, we often struggled with helping him become more focused, take his studies more seriously, and understand the importance of the subjects he was learning. However, since joining the AI class, I have seen a remarkable transformation in him, through the support of teachers, the learning environment, and the overall organization of the program. He comes home excited after every lesson and is always eager to share what he has learned.

Generation AI alumna, first cohort, Vagharshapat. Now a student of the Technical University of Munich
When I was in middle school, I was really interested in coding, but I didn’t have strong foundations in math or Python. Coming from a small regional city, I thought AI was a field for other people — mostly for boys, not for someone like me. However, when I joined the Generation AI program, everything changed. It’s pretty fantastic. We study advanced algebra, including topics like probability that we would normally encounter only at university, and we also learn how AI actually works. Now, when I look at an AI system, I start thinking about what data it was trained on and what models it might use. Most importantly, I can already apply this foundational knowledge to build my own AI projects.
